PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that wear and severance of a cable and breakage or the like of a shaft occur when the shaft and the cable interfere with each other. SOLUTION: The industrial robot is provided with a base shaft part, a first arm 4 rotatable around a first rotary shaft, a second arm 2 rotatable around a second rotary shaft, the shaft, the cable, a first stopper, and a second stopper 10 fixed to the second arm at a position nearly opposite to the first stopper and coming into contact with the first stopper 11 when the second arm is rotated around the second rotary shaft.
