<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body cover for an automobile capable of performing heat insulation by covering window glass poor in heat insulation, more particularly, front window glass having large glass area with a thick heat insulating mat material from an outside face, and being compactly stored without imparting scratches on a painting surface of a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: This cover is provided with a front glass part cover 10 mounted to cover the outside face of at least the front window glass 1 of the window glass of the automobile and a main body sheet cover 30 to cover at least an upper part of the vehicle body of the automobile from the above of the front glass part cover 10. The front glass part cover 10 is formed by the thick heat insulating mat material.
