<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection device including at least one sensor for detecting setting or operation process of an injection device and an electronic, optical and/or acoustic output device for outputting a signal indicating the end of operational life of the injection device confirmed by an electronic circuit for determining the start of predetermined or preset operational life and the elapsed time to a user, and a method for determining the operational life of the injection device. <P>SOLUTION: The start of the operational life period is determined by one or more sensors 111 for detecting setting or replacement of the injection device. After the operational life period predetermined or reduced by the time period regulated according to the determined action process, a signal informing the end of the operational life of the injection device is generated, and the output device outputs an optical and/or acoustic signal indicating an excess in the period of the operational life of the injection device to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
