Wood adhesives

A coating material and/or adhesive manufacturing composition contains isocyanate-terminated prepolymer(s) and optionally auxiliary substance and additive. Prepolymer is obtained by reacting organic polyisocyanate(s) and mixture (M) of organic polyhydroxyl compounds. Mixture (M) contains at least 20 wt.% of fatty acid triglyceride having hydroxyl group, and at least 20 wt.% of polyether having average of at least two hydroxyl groups. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) adhesive for bonding wood substrate, which contains the composition; (2) process for producing adhesively bonded wood substrate. The composition is applied on wood substrate(s). The wood substrate is joined to another wood substrate, which is optionally coated with the composition. The joined substrates are hardened, optionally with application of pressure, and adhesively bonded wood substrates are produced; and (3) adhesively bonded wood substrates.
