A conductive paste suitable for forming of an external electrode of piezoelectric electronic part, comprising at least a conductive powder of Ag powder, a glass frit and an organic vehicle, wherein the glass frit has a composition of the general formula: xB<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>-ySiO<SUB>2</SUB>-zCaO (unit of each of x, y and z: wt.%) whose scope is such that in a ternary composition diagram of Fig. 1, (x,y,z) fall within the range of a polygon binding points A(30,50,20), B(30,60,10), C(15,75,10) and D(15,65,20) and x+y+z=100, and wherein the glass frit contains at least one oxide selected from among ZnO, Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> and an alkali metal oxide, the alkali metal oxide being at least one member selected from among Li<SUB>2</SUB>O, Na<SUB>2</SUB>O and K<SUB>2</SUB>O, and wherein when any of the oxides is contained, the contents of oxides in the glass frit satisfy the relationships: 2 wt.% = ZnO = 13 wt.%, 1 wt.% = Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> = 5 wt.% and 3 wt.% = alkali metal oxide = 25 wt.%. |
