<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap enhancing the forming properties by effectively suppressing breakage and deformation of a die tool for forming a notch during the forming operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the hinge cap, at least a part in the circumferential direction of an outer circumferential cylinder 11 forms a double wall structure with an outer side wall part 11a and an inner side wall part 11b by an arc-shaped notch 18 extending downward from an upper end, an axially breakable groove 19 is provided on the outer side wall part, and an axially breakable groove 20 is also formed in the inner side wall part continuous to this axially breakable groove. An outer circumferential surface of the outer circumferential cylinder in the cap body 10 is offset to a hinge connection part side of the cap lid body 30 with respect to the inner circumferential surface, and the arc-shaped notch is formed on the hinge connection part side of the cap lid body on the outer circumferential cylinder. A breakable groove in the circumferential direction is formed in a boundary part between the outer circumferential cylinder of the cap body and a horizontal flange 12 about over one half circumference on both sides of the double wall structure part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
