PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas regulator having a gas leak detecting function and reducing components to attain space saving of an installation place. SOLUTION: The gas regulator 1 has a nozzle 11 for allowing gas to flow out, and a pressing mechanism for pressing a gas outflow port of the nozzle 11 (a tip part of the nozzle 11) so that gas of predetermined pressure can flow out. The pressure of gas (or the flow of gas) flowing out of the nozzle 11 is regulated by pressing with the pressing mechanism. In this pressing mechanism, a valve seat of a valve rubber 14a or the like disposed facing the gas outflow port of the nozzle 11 is formed of a valve 14 provided on the nozzle 11 side. The gas regulator 1 is provided with a detecting element 15 such as a flow sensor or a pressure sensor for detecting the flow or pressure of gas flowing out of the nozzle 11, near the tip of the nozzle 11 (i.e., near the nozzle of a pressure regulating part). The detecting element 15 can detect gas flowing out of a clearance 12 formed between the tip of the nozzle 11 and the valve rubber 14a when gas is leaking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
