PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the fluctuations caused by the melt insufficiency of a resin while enhancing molding precision in an extruder. SOLUTION: The extruder is equipped with a quantitative supply feeder 2 for quantitatively supplying a raw material resin, an extrusion mechanism 6 for melting and kneading the raw material resin, which is supplied into a cylinder 3 from its base end part, by a heating mechanism 4 and the screw 5 rotationally driven in the cylinder 3 to extrude the kneaded resin from its leading end part, a first pressure gauge P1 for measuring the pressure in the base end part of the cylinder 3 and a second pressure gauge P2 for measuring the pressure in the plasticization start region, where the raw material resin begins to plasticize, in the cylinder 3.
