PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mounted hot air heater capable of smoothly rotating a heater body by suppressing the inclination of the heater body caused by offset load, and preventing bite-in of a power cord during rotation. SOLUTION: A pedestal 3 of a floor mounted hot air heater provided with a warm air blowoff port 4 on the front side is composed of a base 7 abutting on a floor face; a body placing plate 6 provided with a clearance at the upper part of the base 7 to integrally place the heater body 2; and a rotating shaft 8 connecting the body placing plate 6 rotatably to the base 7. At least one of the mutual facing surfaces of the base 7 and body placing plate 6 is provided with protrusions 15 projected into positions with a predetermined distance from the rotating shaft.
