<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a body side terminal connected to a recording section, in an image forming apparatus having a detachable toner bottle, having a configuration for fixing the toner bottle by rotating a case integrated with the toner bottle so as to be pivotal, having in the case the recording section from/in which information about the toner bottle is outputted/inputted, and also having a conductive means on the image forming apparatus body side. <P>SOLUTION: The recording section 76 is provided in the direction of the circumference of the toner bottle.
