PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay reduced in size, securing a sufficient heat dissipation property, increasing capacity (current), and exhibiting good manufacturability. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic relay is constructed of: an electromagnetic block 7 which consists of a core, a coil 2, a yoke 3, armature 4, and a movable spring 6 equipped with a movable contact 5 mechanically engaged in the armature 4; a fixed contact pair 8 constructed of a normally close fixed contact 8a and a normally open fixed contact 8b and brought into contact with the movable contact 5; a base 9 for mounting and fixing the electromagnetic block 7 and the fixed contact pair 8; and an armor cover 10. The electromagnetic block 7 and the fixed contact pair 8 are connected to the outside via outside connection terminals 11a, 11b, 11c, and 11d constructed on the base 9. The movable spring 6, the armature 4, and the yoke 3 form a part of a current carrying path. A yoke extension part 3a is brought into direct contact with the movable contact outside connection terminal 11a and mechanically engaged by crimping.
