PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device for improving a processing speed by the improvement of efficiency in an internal bus by performing parallel transfer between a CPU and an incorporated peripheral module or between the CPU and an internal memory, and between the incorporated peripheral module and an external memory. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device SCD includes the internal buses BUS 1, BUS 2. The incorporated peripheral module of the device SCD comprises a means for transferring data between the CPU or another incorporated peripheral module and the incorporated peripheral module by way of the BUS 1; and a means for transferring data between the incorporated peripheral module and the external memory or another incorporated peripheral module by way of the internal bus BUS 2. Thus, the transfer between the CPU and the incorporated peripheral module connected to the BUS 1 and the transfer between the incorporated peripheral module and the external memory 18 connected to the BUS 2 are performed in parallel.
