<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for animated viewing of a three-dimensional image of a document either in a final stage or at several stages of the production of the document regarding a system and a method for document production visualization (DPV). <P>SOLUTION: The DPV is composed of an object model 110 that comprehends things in a printing domain, graphic rendering technology 120 that supports existing standards and components, a validation model 130 that knows how to test for validity of jobs and user operations and an integration with external services.
