<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for inserting an intraocular lens where push-out operation of the lens is simple and safe and the lens can safely be held without causing malfunction when the lens is not used. <P>SOLUTION: A lens installation part 3 has a locking mechanism 21 for locking the lens 2. The locking mechanism 21 is composed of: a holding member 22 provided surrounding the lens; and a support member 23 for supporting the holding member 22.
