Measuring heat consumption in dwelling forming part of multi occupancy building, by measuring flow of air leaving dwelling and measuring its heat content

The flow of air leaving the dwelling and the temperature of this air is measured, and then heat consumption is calculated for each dwelling, based on the flow of air leaving the dwelling and its heat content. The calculated heat consumption is corrected with respect to heat loss from the dwelling due to transmission. An Independent claim is also included for the measuring system used to carry out this method.
