PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus with a cooling structure for keeping devices or an X-ray detector or the like in a gantry at a prescribed temperature or below if a heating value in the gantry increases. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes a cylindrical rotor equipped with an X-ray tube, a fan for an X-ray tube cooling device, and an X-ray detector, a bed which is used to place a subject and moves along the direction of the rotational axis line of the rotor in a rotar, a support body for supporting the rotor, the gantry for housing the rotor and the support body, and an exhaust fan for exhausting from the upper part of the gantry. An area of a circle described by an outer diameter of an impeller of the exhaust fan is larger than that of an exhaust surface of the fan for the X-ray tube cooling device. The center of rotation of the exhaust fan is disposed in a projection plane of the exhaust surface of the fan for the X-ray tube cooling device along the direction of the rotational axis line of the rotor.
