A reinforcing structure for an opening wall capable of reducing a horizontal deformation and a drawing force acting on vertical frame materials when a horizontal force acts on a steel house formed of frame materials of lightweight shape steel sheet. The four sides of each of opening parts (8) are formed of the vertical frame materials (22) for mounting lintel receiving members positioned apart from each other and an opening part upper frame member (18) and an opening part lower frame material (24) fixed to the vertical frame materials at their end parts. A vertical wall (26), a spandrel wall (27), and side walls (28) are formed by fixing structural surface materials to the frame materials on the sides and the frame materials on the outside of the sides. Frame materials (29a) for reinforcement are fixed so as to position on the extensions of the opening part upper frame material (18) and the opening part lower frame material (24). Steel materials (33) for connection passed through the vertical frame materials (22) are fixed to the opening part upper frame material (18), the opening part lower frame material (24), and the frame materials (29a) for reinforcement. The side walls (28) are fixed to the frame materials (29a) for reinforcement with drill screws, and the vertical wall (26) and side walls (28), and the spandrel wall (27) and the side walls (28) are connected to each other, respectively, so that shearing forces can be transmitted to each other.
