<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a belt line outer seal, with excellent appearance and easy mounting and handling, excellent in productivity at extrusion molding. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting structure for a belt line outer seal is provided with a bright finisher 10 of an approximately reverse U-shape cross section formed by a material having high rigidity and glossiness; and an outer seal 20 provided at an inner surface side of the bright finisher 10. An indoor side wall 22 of the outer seal 20 is formed by a high hardness material H to make a strut material and a thin fulcrum part 27 is formed on a border part of the indoor side wall 22 and an upper side wall 23. The outer seal 20 is extrusion-molded in the opened state making the fulcrum part 27 as a center and it is assembled to the bright finisher 10 in the closed state. In that state, it is press-contacted with an inner surface of the bright finisher 10 by elastic restoration force making the fulcrum part 27 as a center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
