An elongated body 1 has two sloping faces 4 bearing layers 6 of light reflecting material and two outturned bare flanges 11 which reflect incident light back onto the reflecting material strips 6. The underside of the base is serrated and concave to provide for adhesive securing the marker to the road surface and to prevent the edges 17 curling under the weight of vehicle wheels.
