PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional lamp socket having a clip-stop feeling by rotation is easily shifted from a normal installation position of a rotor when a lamp pin is rotated to the installation position from an insertion position, and therefore the contact of the lamp pin and a contact fitting becomes unstable. SOLUTION: In the lamp socket, the installation part of the lamp pin 5a is formed of a cut-out part 2c of a receiving part 2b of a rotor 2, and when the rotor 2 having a convex part 2d at the receiving part 2b is guided and rotated by a guide rib 1d having a concave part 1c, and when the rotor rotates from the insertion position of the lamp pin 5a, a pressing force for narrowing the cut-out width of the cut-out part works and in the insertion position (detaching position) and the installation position of the lamp pin 5a, the convex part 2a is engaged with the concave part 1c, and the pressing force is released.
