PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for obtaining a random number having clear uniformity and uniqueness while using a natural random number. SOLUTION: The method and device subject a random number obtained from a random number generation section for generating p kinds (p is a natural number larger than 1) of random values to a predetermined processing to extract m kinds (m<p) of values in random order without duplication. Use and application of the natural random number having a higher random property than that of a pseudo random number and having no replicability to a game machine makes a fraudulent operation from the outside of the game machine difficult and enhances the safety of the game machine. Extraction of values up to a predetermined number smaller than the natural random number in a predetermined cycle in random order without duplication has a random number having the clear uniformity and uniqueness to facilitate its authorization.
