PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner greatly improving a suction force and miniaturizing the size by dispensing with a whirl chamber. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is inclinedly installed with an inclined filter 7 for partitioning a dust collecting chamber 5 having a suction port 6 and an exhaust port 15 into an upstream side 5a and a downstream side 5B. The upstream side 5A of the dust collecting chamber 5 is provided with a dust cup 17 having an inlet 16 and an outlet 12 and incorporating a compression filter catching the dust and compressing it adjacent to the outlet 12. Air including the dust abuts on a wall 13 of the projection part in the lower end for fixing the inclined filter 7 and flows into the dust cup 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
