MERCHANDISE PURCHASE SYSTEM, PRINTED MATTER, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a merchandise image from being damaged and to eliminate the need of an exclusive space in printing information for ordering merchandise on a merchandise catalog.

SOLUTION: On the merchandise catalog 100, a pattern capable of detecting information for prescribing the merchandise catalog and information relating to an embedded position on the merchandise catalog is printed. A portable telephone 200 is provided with a photographing part 210 for photographing the pattern printed on the merchandise catalog, and a merchandise seller server 300 is provided with a merchandise data base 320 for storing the information for prescribing the merchandise catalog and the information relating to the printed position of the merchandise on the merchandise catalog for each merchandise printed on the merchandise catalog. Since the pattern can be embedded in the background of character information relating to the merchandise of the merchandise catalog, it is not conspicuous and the need of the exclusive space is eliminated.
