<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter capable of improving a sticking property to a counter substrate, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter CF is provided with a transparent substrate 6, colored resin regions 4R, 4G, 4B arranged on the transparent substrate 6 and spacers 1 disposed on the transparent substrate 6. The spacer 1 has a base part 1b disposed on the transparent substrate 6 and has an apex part 1a disposed on the base part 1b.
