DISPLAY METHOD, PORTABLE TERMINAL EQUIPMENT AND DISPLAY PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operability of equipment by easily identifying menus being selected.

SOLUTION: A control part changes the display mode of a cursor so that the end part of a cursor at the moving direction side can be formed with an almost band-shaped low transparency, and that any section other than the end part of the cursor at the moving direction side formed with low transparency can be formed with high transparency so as to confirm menus over the cursor while the moving operation of the cursor is being detected. The end section of the cursor at the moving direction side is formed with the band-shaped low transparency and it is possible to clearly display the position of the cursor to a user. Then, any section other than the end part of the cursor at the moving direction side formed with low transparency is formed with high transparency so as to confirm the menus over the cursor and even when the display color of the cursor and the display color of the menu are the same display color or approximate display color, it is possible for the user to visually confirm the menu at which the cursor is positioned.
