<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entry/exit room control system which can prevent a user, who has permission to enter a room of which the entering and leaving is controlled, from being forbidden to enter the room even when an expiry date of access key information on the card side has expired, and which can improve user convenience. <P>SOLUTION: A card reader 4 attempts to unlock the right to access by using term excess key information when the expiry date of the access key information on the card side of an IC card 5 has expired.
