PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle sensor for an electrode power steering device capable of suppressing the tooth hit noise between an inscribed gear on the electric power steering device and a sensor gear on the angle sensor side to be engaged with the inscribed gear, and enhancing the assembly property. SOLUTION: The angle sensor 40 comprises a sensor gear 41 which is engaged with an inscribed gear 38 provided on an electric power steering device 10 and rotated in an accelerated manner, at least a pair of bearings 43, 44 arranged separately from each other in the axial direction so as to rotatably support a rotary shaft 42 of the sensor gear 41, and a reduction gear mechanism 45 arranged between the pair of bearings 43, 44. An inequality L1≥L2 is satisfied, where L1 denotes the length from the center position in the axial direction of the bearing 43 on the sensor gear 41 side in the pair of bearings 43, 44 to the center position in the axial direction of the sensor gear 41, and L2 denotes the length from the bearing 43 to the center position in the axial direction of an engagement part of the reduction gear mechanism 45 from the bearing 43.
