摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell by which an effective utilization factor of catalytic metal particles is improved in a simple manner. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of an electrode catalyst involves mixing a solution containing colloidal particles obtained by coating catalyst metal particles with a protection agent and a conductive carrier 1 having fine pores and depositing the colloidal particles on the conductive carrier 1.
