LUBRICATING AGENT COMPOSITION FOR COLD PLASTIC WORKING AND COLD PLASTIC WORKING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating agent composition for cold plastic working, exhibiting good lubricating properties and burning resistance even when the composition does not contain a chlorine-based compound and to provide the cold plastic working method using the composition.

SOLUTION: The lubricating agent composition for cold plastic working contains a carbonate of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal such as sodium carbonate and/or calcium carbonate and a hydroxide of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal in a lubricating base oil such as a mineral oil and does not contain a chlorine-based compound. The lubricating agent composition has≥10 mass% and <100 mass% content of carbonate of the alkali metal and/or the alkaline earth metal and the composition has content of the alkali metal and/or the alkaline earth metal of >0 pt.mass and≤5 pts.mass when the content of carbonate of the alkali metal and/or the alkaline earth metal is defined as 100 pts.mass and the composition is liquid or gel-like at normal temperature.
