PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tap, a tap body and a set screw, preventing any increase in manufacturing cost while cutting fluid can be suitably supplied in through hole perforating as well. SOLUTION: In this tap 1, when the set screw 2 is fitted to the tap body 3, a discharge groove 34 and an oil hole 33 are communicated with each other through a first clearance 22a and a communicating groove 23. A cutting fluid discharged through a communicating passage is discharged outwardly in the radial direction along the discharge groove 34. Thus, the cutting fluid can be supplied to a male screw 31, whereby in through hole perforating, operation such as lubrication, cooling and non-welding can be secured to attain a long life of the tap 1. Thus, while in through hole perforating, suitably the cutting fluid can be supplied to the male screw 31 only by recessing the discharge groove 34 in the tap body 3 and recessing the communicating groove 23 in the set screw, the effect of preventing any increase in manufacturing cost can be obtained.
