PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the processing of removing gravel without pulling out a screw auger in the case that a front-end opening of a pipe body is clogged with the large-diameter gravel, when the forward ground is excavated while the pipe body is jacked into the ground by excavating equipment constituted by mounting the screw auger in the pipe body. SOLUTION: An auger shaft 2a of the screw auger 2 which is mounted in the pipe body 1 is formed of a hollow pipe with a diameter large enough to enable the entrance and exit of a worker. When the front-end opening of the pipe body 1 is clogged with the large-diameter gravel, the worker gets into the auger shaft 2a through entrances 8A and 8B which are provided at the back end of the pipe body 1 and that of the auger shaft 2a, and the processing of crushing and removing the gravel is performed by opening a front end of the auger shaft 2a.
