PURPOSE:To provide a sheet form heat emitting body which presents good heat resistance and durability and excels in the mass-producibility, by laminating a metal foil layer in the desired shape on a film of polyimide resin through the etching process. CONSTITUTION:By evaporation process, a metal foil layer 3 of Cu, Ni, stainless steel, etc., is formed on a film 4 made of polyimide resin having insulativeness, and a protective printing due to etch resist is applied onto this layer 3 according to the specified pattern. Then the portion free of the protective printing is corroded with a solution of ferric chloride, and the printing is removed by a solution of sodium hydroxide, etc., and thus a sheet form heat emitting body 2 is obtained. Because of the film 4 of polyimide resin sustaining a temp. of approx. 300 deg.C and because no adhesive likely to cause thermal deformation exists between each film 4 and the metal foil layer 3, the resultant sheet form heat emitting body 2 is unlikely to be deformed thermally and excels in the high temp. resistance and also in the mass-producibility. |
