<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a full-color image by whichfailure such as character void and toner scattering can be suppressed even when a nonmagnetic toner and a magnetic toner are used. <P>SOLUTION: When the charge amount of a nonmagnetic toner on a photoreceptor is larger by ≥10 μC/g than the charge amount of a magnetic toner, the nonmagnetic toner is discharged or the magnetic toner is charged prior to transferring a toner image onto a recording material to decrease the difference in charges amounts of the both toners to less than 10 μC/g. Preferably, before the above treatment, the charge amount of the magnetic toner on the photoreceptor is 1 to 15 μC/g, and the charge amount of the nonmagnetic toner on the photoreceptor is 16 to 40 μC/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
