<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for aiming at miniaturization/thinning of a package for mounting a thinning-fork type crystal vibrator, and to provide a technology for manufacturing a surface-mounting piezoelectric device inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: The tuning-fork type crystal vibrating reed 10 is arranged on one main surface of a substrate 101, and a metal cap 102 is sealed airtightly, in a state with it covering the tuning-fork type crystal vibrating reed 10. In order to apply voltage to each of two oscillation rods 12a and 12b, provided to the tuning-fork crystal vibrating reed 10, hole parts 103a and 103b are made. The tuning-fork type crystal vibrating reed 10 is supported and fixed by mounting parts 104a and 104b, whose base part 11 functions as electrode pads formed on the main surface of the substrate 101. Electrode films 105a and 105b, comprising conductive materials such as silver platinum and silver palladium, are provided in correspondence with the respective mounting parts, and the respective electrodes are extended therethrough so that it electrically connects the hold parts 103a and 103b with the mounting parts 104a and 104b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
