PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency synchronous rectification switching power supply in which power loss is reduced through a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: A rectification switching element SW1 is driven based on a signal produced by combining a trigger signal Vt1 having a rising timing leading ahead of the output from a transformer Tm and the drain voltage of the rectification switching element SW1. In this regard, energy of an inductor L1 is controlled to charge/discharge the gate of the rectification switching element SW1 the thus driving the rectification switching element SW1.
