<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling property by assembling a part of a parking brake lock mechanism in one lot to a caliper. <P>SOLUTION: The electric brake device generating braking force by propelling a piston 10 by the rotation of a motor rotor 25 and pressing a brake pad to a disk rotor, is provided with the parking brake lock mechanism 16 disposed at the periphery of the rotor 25. The parking brake lock mechanism 16 swings a swing arm 62 around a pin 71 in response to current application to a solenoid 68 and engages an engaging claw 61 at the tip of the swing arm 62 with a ratchet 60 provided at the outer periphery of the rotor 25 to regulate the rotation of the rotor 25 in a braking release direction R and to release the regulation by a torsion spring 72. In the parking brake lock mechanism 16, the swing arm 62 including the engaging claw 61, the solenoid 68, the torsion spring 72, and the like are unitized through brackets 69, 70 at both ends, and this unit 63 is assembled to a caliper body 7 by bolts 75 through the brackets 69, 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
