<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient remote control device causing no misunderstanding on the user's side to receive teletext or voice broadcast during automatic setting of broadcasting stations. <P>SOLUTION: The remote control device 1 signal-connected to a circuit of a hot water supply apparatus to remote-operate the hot water supply apparatus, performs the operation of a channel automatic setting mode of variably adjusting receive radio wave frequency, performing at least once automatic storage operation of storing the radio wave frequency of broadcast receivable by the adjustment and the broadcasting station correspondingly, and setting the broadcasting station stored each time the automatic storage operation is performed, as one channel. During this operation, measures 60 of upper limit values of channel set values are displayed on a display screen 32, and the measures 60 are blinked one by one at every automatic storage operation.
