PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part fastening driver unit, performing thread fastening work at high speed while preventing the excessive fastening of a screw caused by impact torque generated in screwing the screw. SOLUTION: In this part fastening driver unit, a driving shaft 20a of an AC servo motor 20 and a driving tool 25 are connected to each other through a torsion coil spring 22, and the unit includes: a resolver 21 outputting a signal showing an absolute rotating angle of the driving shaft 20a; a resolver 24 outputting a signal showing an absolute rotating angle of the driving tool 25; and a control unit 3. The motor 20 is controlled to drive at a rotating speed or output torque such that the helix angle of the torsion coil spring 22 caused by impact torque when a screw engaged with the driving tool 25 is screwed into a work is smaller than that of the torsion coil spring 22 when target fastening torque is applied to the screw.
