PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating head for formation of a coating film on the target surface which has an improved stability of coating performance. SOLUTION: A lip 22 is mounted so as to contact two mutually intersected planes 20 and 21 of a recessed part formed in the edge part of a head member 10 and extended in the longitudinal direction. A part of the lip 22 surrounded by the two planes 20 and 21 is formed with a fixing member 24 in which a bolt 25 is engaged, and the other part is composed of a super-hard member 23. The axial direction of the bolt 25 intersects with the two planes 20 and 21. Since the super-hard member 23 is pressed against the two planes 20 and 21 of the head member 10 by arranging the bolt 25 at such an angle as to impart a force pressing the lip 22 against the two planes 20 and 21 through the tensile force of the bolt 25, the occurrence of a clearance between the lip 22 and the head member 10 can be controlled, leading to an improvement in the stability of coating performance.
