PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor allergen-inactivating building material capable of using a habitable space and capable of inactivating an allergen. SOLUTION: In the indoor allergen-inactivating building material 11, an enzyme (such as a protease or the like) inactivating the allergen and a protein modifier (such as urea or the like) are contained in the inside and surface of a building material such as a gypsum section 12. In the allergen-inactivating building material 11, an on-site decomposition for the allergen easy to adhere on a wall surface in an environment in a habitable room is realized.
