PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition compounded with not less than two specific silica having different particle diameters, and good in workability and dispersibility, and excellent in mechanical properties and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is compounded with 10-150 parts per weight reinforcing filler, containing not less than two silica having different N<SB>2</SB>SA (nitrogen adsorption specific surface area) and the difference between the greatest N<SB>2</SB>SA value and the smallest N<SB>2</SB>SA value is not smaller than 30, to 100 parts per weight rubber, and 0.1-15 wt.% silane coupling agent to the total of the silica.
