PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation for caring oral health having effects of sterilization, plaque adsorption, prevention of oral odor or the like, and also having improved stability and taste. SOLUTION: The anhydrous, solid and foamable composition contains a carbon dioxide-supplying source comprising a bicarbonate salt or a carbonate salt, or combinations thereof, xylitol, an acid-supplying source comprising an organic acid such as citric acid, tartaric acid, fumaric acid and malic acid, a partial salt of the organic acid or a mixture thereof, and silicon dioxide, in effective proportions, and is usually in a powder, tablet or capsule shape.
