PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to confirm a number of photographed images in a short period of time.

SOLUTION: A display apparatus is provided with: an external memory 27 recording photographed images; a CPU 21 for deciding the number of skips for thinning the photographed images; an image processing circuit 18 for thinning the photographed images recorded in the external memory 27 on the basis of the number of skips decided by the CPU 21 to read the images; and an LCD 24 for displaying the plurality of images read by the circuit 18 in matrix on one screen.
