<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economize recording paper by automatically stopping printing processing when data different from image data instructed by a terminal to be printed is started to be printed due to garbled characters or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A bitmap expansion part 803 converts image data transmitted from the terminal and having a first image format into a second image format. A comparing part 809 determines whether image data converted by the bitmap expansion part 803 coincides with image data instructed to be subjected to image formation processing. When it is consequently determined that the image data converted by the bitmap expansion part 803 does not coincide with the image data instructed to be subjected to the image formation processing, the comparing part 809 controls a transferring part 806 to stop image formation processing to the recording paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
