<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system in which power consumption is reduced when a wireless communication device is not performing information communication and information communication can be resumed smoothly, and to provide a wireless repeater being employed in communication between wireless communication devices. <P>SOLUTION: Each wireless communication processing terminal 3 configuring an autonomous distributed wireless network 1 comprises a synchronous clock for synchronizing communication, and a power supply control section for controlling the wireless communication processing terminal 3 between wake-up state and sleeping state. The power supply control section brings the wireless communication processing terminal 3 into wake-up state at a predetermined time interval according to ticking of the synchronous clock, and synchronizes the synchronous clock of other wireless communication processing terminal 3 and its own synchronous clock during wake-up state. Consequently, power consumption can be reduced in sleeping state and a processing for starting information communication by making a transition from the sleeping state to the wake-up state can be carried out smoothly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
