PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus enabling conducting of appropriate inquiry and proposal with respect to a driver in a proper situation. SOLUTION: The running state of a vehicle detected by a current location detector 14 and information received by a VICS information receiving section 111 and a communications section 114 are converted numerically. When the numerical value exceeds threshold, the inquiry for the proposal is implemented by a sound from a speaker 17.
