PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel (such as gas oil) lubricating diesel engine, capable of reducing the number of part items, by maximally avoiding supply to an injection system of fuel advanced in a stain degree. SOLUTION: This fuel (such as gas oil) lubricating diesel engine 1 has a lubricating system fuel supply passage 5 for sending its fuel to an oil pan 3 by supplying the fuel to an engine lubricating system 4 from a fuel tank 2 by a lubricating pump 8, a lubricating system fuel return passage 9 for returning the fuel in the oil pan 3 to the upstream side of the lubricating pump 8 on the lubricating system fuel supply passage 5, and an injection system fuel supply passage 13 for supplying the fuel to an injection system 12 from the oil pan 3 by an injection pump 11. The fuel supplied to the boil pan 3 by passing through the lubricating system fuel supply passage 5, is early consumed by the injection system 12 before the stain degree advances.
