PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of recording a high-quality image even when an amount of oblique movement of a medium to be recorded is changed when the recording is performed by using a plurality of recording apparatus units, and to provide a recording method and a method of correcting recording data. SOLUTION: The amount of deviation of the position of the medium 105 to be recorded is detected by a detecting sensor 111. Based on the amount of the deviation, the correction value of the recording position by a recording head 102 on a plurality of recording head systems 101 is calculated.
