PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy material for a heat exchanger in which excellent brazability can be obtained even if Si powder with a fine grain diameter is used and coating quantity is made large for suppressing erosion. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy material is coated with a composition for brazing obtained by mixing Si based alloy powder, fluoride flux and a binder. The Si based alloy powder comprises one or two selected from 0.05 to 5.0 wt% Al and 0.2 to 1.2 wt% Fe, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
