PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing ester compound which is excellent in characteristics such as heat resistance and low moisture absorption and can suitably be used in various fields such as a material for electronic information, a material for precision machining and optical materials; a fluorine-containing aryl ester polymer; its manufacturing method; and a resin composition containing these materials. SOLUTION: The fluorine-containing ester compound is represented by general formula (1), wherein m and n, which may be the same or different, each indicate a number of the fluorine atoms attached to the benzene rings, namely an integer of 1-5 and R<SP>1</SP>indicates a 1-150C, divalent organic group.
